About Me

Hi! I’m Kate. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering virtual therapy to clients throughout California. I earned my B.A. in Sociology from Quinnipiac University and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. My experience has included working with teens and adults across a variety of settings, from community mental health to residential treatment and private practice.

I’m originally from the East Coast, and I like to think I bring a little East Coast sass into the therapy room. My style is warm and compassionate, but also direct, curious, and often sprinkled with humor. I’m not a therapist who will simply nod along for 50 minutes. I’ll be right there with you—helping you get curious about your patterns, make connections, and look at things from a different perspective when it’s helpful.

More than anything, I approach therapy as a human first. I believe meaningful therapy comes from a relationship where you feel safe enough to be honest, understood enough to let your guard down, and comfortable enough to show up as yourself. My approach is collaborative and rooted in understanding how past experiences, relationships, and the stories we’ve learned about ourselves shape how we move through the world today. Together, we’ll make sense of where your patterns came from, how they may have once protected you, and which ones you’re ready to leave behind—while still leaving room for laughter and moments of lightness along the way.

The goal isn’t to become an entirely different version of yourself. It’s to understand yourself more deeply, feel more grounded in who you are, and make room for a life that feels more like your own.

I currently work virtually with clients who reside in California.
